Registration

AWTRS 2010 - March 22-24, 2010, the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, Perth Western Australia is held over 3 days. The 2010 meeting program includes a Pre-conference Workshop/Master Class on Monday 22nd March from 1:30-5:30pm.

Registration options for the meeting include: Full AWTRS 2010 Meeting - including pre-conference Master Class/Workshop; AWTRS 2010 Meeting only; AWTRS 2010 Meeting+ 1-day AWMA registration. The last is a special discounted registration package for AWTRS 2010 delegates who would also like to attend the first day of the Australian Wound Management Meeting (AWMA) which has been designed with the interests of researchers in mind.

The Pre-conference Master Class/Workshop begins after lunch on Monday, March 22 and is followed by the conference dinner that evening. The program of basic and clinical research presentations continues through Tuesday March 23-Wednesday March 24, concluding in time for the welcome reception at the AWMA Meeting. More...

Submitted abstracts will be reviewed for oral or poster presentation. Please register and submit your abstract on-line in the conference database to make yourself available for oral or poster presentation selection. Payment need not be made at the time of registration, reminders are sent.

The language of the conference is English, and all presentations, oral and poster, should be in English. Submissions for oral and poster presentation selection accepted and responded to from June, 2009.

AWTRS 2010 Registration fee includes:

There is no reserved hotel accommodation for AWTRS2010. Please see a reference list of suggested Hotels in the area close to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Those attending the full AWMA conference, accommodation may be booked prior to that meeting at the conference rate. Be sure to mention AWMA and AWTRS when booking hotel rooms.

PAYMENT

  • Payment need not be made at the time of registration. Reminders are sent.
  • Early-Bird registration closes January 8, 2010 and all payments should be received by that date to attract the Early-Bird rate.
  • Only fully-paid registrants will be included in the conference program. Non-payment results in withdrawal of the offer of a poster or oral presentation.
  • Registration fees are processed by Magic Touch Consultancies. Merchant facilities are provided by Magic Touch and this is the merchant name that will appear on your statement.
  • All payments are to be received in full in AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS
  • Payment can be made on-line at eWay's secure, on-line payment site, or by cheque
  • Credit cards accepted are: Visa and MasterCard
  • On-line payment confirmation is by e-mail, sent by return
  • When paying by cheque, you will receive acknowledgement of payment when the deposit is cleared

Please retain your password details and registration number. Tax invoices are printed out over the net.

MTCi supports responsible use of on-line credit card transactions and reports suspected fraudulent activity to Federal police and the Immigration office.

CANCELLATION

  • Cancellations should be notified in writing to the Conference Secretariat.

REFUNDS

  • Cancellations received prior to January 8, 2010 will receive a full refund less an administration fee of AUD$75
  • No refunds are made after January 8, 2010

A Substitute delegate will be accepted - please notify Magic Touch in writing of changed status.

SOCIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Tickets may be purchased for the Conference Dinner on Monday night: spectacular location on the banks of the Swan River. Transport by ferry from Barrack Street Jetty or taxi over the Causeway.
  • Welcome Reception/Sundowner on Tuesday evening with the Exhibitors, included in registration fee
  • NB: Entry to all of the above is by name badge/entree ticket.

ABSTRACTS/POSTER PRESENTATIONS

  • Abstracts are submitted on-line with registration. Please follow the instructions in the registration form.
  • Payment need not be made at the time of registration. Reminders are sent.

ACCOMMODATION

  • Accommodation is booked by the delegate, directly with the Hotel. The Hotels page on the website contains a list of hotels in close proximity to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, the conference venue.

LIABILITY

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Committee and Conference Organiser do not accept responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delay or cancellation of the meeting.

We advise all delegates to take out personal travel and health insurance.

TRAVEL AND VISA

  • All visitors to Australia require a Visa and current passport. Your Visa must be obtained in your country of residence BEFORE entry to Australia - if required, please activate NOW
  • If eligible, Electronic visas are quick and cost-effective. Check the visa section of the website
  • Please check with your travel agent for details and forms
  • With tighter security, longer processing times are required. Allow a minimum of 2 months
  • Early booking of flights is advised, as flights to Australia do book out
  • If requesting a letter for Visa application for entry to Australia, please register in the conference database, and supply the following information. The Australian Immigration Department requires that the Conference send this information to them; these details are treated in the strictest of confidence.
